Freelance journalist David Dunhill stumbles onto the biggest story of his career - but his personal eccentricities seem likely to thwart him.

Dante travels to Lagos de Moreno to see an old girlfriend who is about to marry. By chance he meets an Italian tourist named Domenica and they spend the night wandering through the city streets. Among memories of lost loves, Dante and Domenica eventually discover they are soul mates.

A radio reporter does a story on the infidelity and divorce of a wealthy and powerful businessman. The man invites the reporter to his mansion for a chat, but when he gets there, he finds that the businessman has been murdered--and that now he himself is on the killer's hit list.

Gaston Le Crayon is a French (kind of beatnik-looking) artist who brings his artwork to life. He's doing a famous painting to be. Movie director Alfred Fitchcock moves in next door. Fitchcock is making a movie about a man stranded in the frozen Arctic. Gaston takes it seriously. He paints a toaster, stuffs the freezing man in it, and pops him out like a piece of toast. Gaston thinks that he's doing a good deed. Fitchcock is furious.

For over 40 years, Harold has been running a successful business, Lunde Furniture, together with his wife, Marny. This comes to an end when IKEA decides to open a new superstore right next door to Harolds small furniture shop. Harold and Marny lose both their shop and their home to the bank, and to make matter worse, Marny is starting to lose her memory. In mounting anger and desperation, Harold wants revenge. He arms himself with a pistol, gets into his old Saab, and sets off for lmhult, Sweden, to kidnap his nemesis, the founder of IKEA, Ingvar Kamprad.

Intrigued, she decides to break in and try to find out who owns this emotionless beautiful home equipped with high-end technology. While at first Hannah enjoys the luxury, she starts to notice on each visit that Max (Stipe Erceg), the owner of the house, is excessively obsessed with his physical possessions. He has spent a lot of time to make sure that everything external meets the society’s standards that he has forgotten himself. The things that he himself likes, the activities that make him smile, and the people who make him happy. Having realised that, Hannah starts leaving hints for Max, so as to shake him out of the the everyday emptiness and make him focus on what is important.

18-year-old Kathleen is fresh out of foster care. Her departure coincides with the death of her biological mother, so she returns to her hometown to take ownership of her mother’s house. She gets a job and even a friend; but the emptiness of Kathleen’s life cannot be filled by social media and reality shows. Alone and desperate for a mother figure, she sets out on a destructive path to find one.
